Rafal graduated from University of Technology Sydney with honours in Computer Systems Engineering and Business Finance. He joined IBM as a graduate and over the last 5 years has reached the positions of a Senior IT Specialist in the Rational Software brand.
Rafal’s focus is on the successful delivery of software solutions whether they are commercially bought, developed in-house or outsourced. Working as a Rational Specialist in a technical sales role he has had numerous client engagements giving him exposure to both technology and the business benefits of good technical solutions. He has been involved in short to medium projects involving Rational tools where he led everything from proof of concepts to full rollouts of tools and the supporting processes.
Rafal’s focus in the application delivery lifecycle includes requirements management, process and portfolio management, quality management as well as security, risk and compliance.
Rafal is a regular speaker at the IBM developerWorks Live! Briefings on security and quality management.
Rafal will be judging application security.
