Structure is everything

aboveThe stand at CeBit this year is long and narrow 3x 12m. affair, divided into three parts… our opposing teams have a petitioned off area at each end… whilst we in the middle sit and guard the coffee pot and cut sandwiches in the middle.

The teams have come out of their initial daze from the briefing and have settled in for the grind that will take them through to midnight and some respite.

Teams are broken up into a UIX, a graphics person, a programmer/scripter, a CSS/HTML programmer, a content manager and a project manager… and they seem to stand up and sit down constantly as they confer with their team mates.

It’s 5pm, and I am out of here… though I can hear the gears turning and the slow burn of those passionate about their work applying themselves to their client briefs and their promised rewards to being trans-Tasman Full Code Press winners.
