- Who do we have here?
- I’m Amanda, I’m the Project Manager from the Code Blacks. We’ve got an hour ’til we start and everyone is now setting up, doing last-minute adjustments but we’re pretty much ready to go.
- So how’s the team feeling? The spirit?
- We’re pretty psyched, I think everyone is quite ready to get into it and meet our client now.
- What’s the team strategy?
- I can’t share the team strategy with you at the moment because that is privileged information but once we’re up and running, we’ll be able to share some of our secrets and we’ll be into it. So people will start to see our site appearing at the URL that is available for that and we’ll start to reveal state secrets.
- But there is a plan?
- There absolutely is a plan and I think it is a plan that we’ll be able to adapt and be flexible no matter what happens during the 24 hours so we’re feeling quite good
- Tell us about the preparation that you guys have done for this?
- We’ve had heaps of emails, Skype phone calls, investigation, planning, all sorts of things so we’ve done quite a lot of work in the past few weeks just to think through all the eventualities so we’re ready to go.
- There’s good team dynamics? You’ve figured it all out?
- Yup, it helps that quite a few of us knew each other anyway so as a team we’ve gotten to know each other really well.
- So which team poses as your biggest threat?
- In terms of biggest threat I personally think Team Aussie, or the Codaroos, are one of our biggest threats as they’ve got a lot to prove after the last two years of losing out to the Code Blacks so we’re gonna be keeping an eye on them since they are next door and they’ve already printed accidentally to our printer! So we’ll see how it goes.
- But you’re excited for the 11 o’clock start?
- We’re absolutely excited, we’re ready to go. We could start early, we’re practically done.
